The 2011 BAE Systems New Hampshire FIRST LEGO League Championship Tournament

The 2011 New Hampshire FIRST LEGO League Championship Tournament will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011  at Central High School in Manchester, NH. Up to 52 FLL teams will be invited to the event upon qualifying at a Qualifying FLL Tournament in New Hampshire. The event is open to the public and admission is free.

The snow day for this year’s Championship will be Sunday, December 4, 2011.

The Championship Event is open to the Public. Also Note the parking is very limited at the Championship Event in Manchester. More information will be given out closer to the event.

Teams can download the Championship registration packet that was provided to advancing teams at the qualifying events.

Consent Forms and Team information sheets to bring to the tournament

Please bring the following forms:

FIRST waiver form for each student and coach – to be handed in at registration

BAE Systems waiver form for each student and coach – to be handed in at registration.

Young Adult/Adult Mentor Award form - Teams may complete one form for a young adult mentor and one form for an adult mentor. These forms should be turned into the registration table no later than 12:30 PM.

Special Recognition Awards

Adult Coach/ Mentor: This award recognizes the mentor whose guidance and devotion were most clearly evident in his/her team’s discussion with the judges.

Young Adult Mentor: This award recognizes the young adult (high school through college) mentor, whose impact, guidance and support were most clearly evident in the team’s discussion with the judges.

Nominations for coach awards or young mentor awards will be done the Championship event.

Global Innovation Award: The FIRST® LEGO® League Global Innovation Award is designed to get FLL teams excited about further developing their Project solutions. This year, the FLL Food Factor® season challenged kids around the world to solve a food safety problem.  Any registered FLL team may enter their food safety invention to win the opportunity to take their idea to the next level.  This is the second year the award has been offered. Online submissions and voting will open January 19, 2012, and will continue through March 1, 2012.
