BAE Systems is delighted and proud to sponsor 2008’s Granite State Regional FIRST Robotics Competition! We congratulate each team’s effort to design and build a solutions-oriented robot – no small feat in six weeks and the culmination of a year-round planning and training regimen. We do this because we believe in a world that must embrace continuous change: FIRST provides the environment to take on those challenges, seek solutions, and drive them to reality.

We warmly welcome all the teams who are competing here in the Granite State. The competition is the most energizing event you'll participate in during your high school career. We promise to make the three-day event so much fun you’ll want to always be a part of FIRST!

FIRST represents a cooperative team effort by teachers and administrators, parents, communities, mentors, and volunteers. Their efforts give the next generation of scientists, engineers, and inventors a unique opportunity to develop their talents, and the confidence to face the challenges of tomorrow. For those countless hours and your ever-solid advice, we thank you.
